About Lauren

In February 2019, I decided enough was enough and I was going to start making weekly videos on everything feminism related. It had been on my mind for years and I was so eager to have my voice heard in the world and to add to this conversation. The amount I have learned about myself and the world since then has been immeasurable.

In that time, I have given video making workshops to Young Feminist Europe and End FGM EU and have featured on Ireland’s national Irish language broadcaster TG4. One theme you will consistently see run through my videos and content is that of ‘everyday sexism’. I find it is the most pervasive type of sexism in our society and the least talked about and therefore the hardest to eradicate. I just think how can we manage to stop the ‘big’ things if we can’t even manage to stop the ‘small’ things?

I am originally from Ireland and have studied and worked in the Netherlands and Belgium. My education and work history can be viewed at my LinkedIn here. I am also available to give gender equality workshops in schools and businesses. More information on that can be found here.

My aim is make the world a better place for women, to collectively awaken our subconscious and for us, as a society, to face the things we may not like about ourselves. I am not perfect as I have been raised in the same society as everyone else. I will always own my shortcomings and aim to do better. I want this page to be a welcoming place where one comes to learn and improve the world.

I am excited to see what the future holds and I hope that this site can be a source of positivity and hope that the world is actually moving forward.
